The Blow Mold Operator is primarily responsible for the production of quality bottles that meet customer specifications. The Blow Mold Operator will be able to make proper processing adjustments to machines to this end. The Blow Mold Operator will also be able to perform the job duties of the Material Handler and Floor Person.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate blow-molding machines to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks.
Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure.
Troubleshoot and locate root problems and repair blow molders and support equipment.
Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
Perform mold, neck tooling, pin and other equipment changes.
Set up and adjust equipment to produce quality bottles of various types, size and configurations.
Perform hydraulic and pneumatic checks.
Complete and maintain repair checklists and complete reports as required.
Lubricate and perform any preventive maintenance to all equipment and keep necessary records.
Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Help others as needed.
Assist during line studies.
Fill out appropriate paperwork thoroughly and correctly.
Keep area clean.
Participate in all safety initiatives.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Participate in the CCCPS.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Prior manufacturing experience and/or training are not required, but are desirable.
