Overview

We are currently seeking a Finance Analyst for our corporate office in Atlanta, Georgia. This position reports directly to the Business Unit Finance Director.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial and economic analysis, such as the development of complex financial models, to support business strategies, M&A, capital projects, and improvement initiatives
  • Support corporate and business unit planning processes by assisting business leaders in the development and communication of specific business initiatives that will drive the overall corporate strategy; and support monthly reviews of key strategic imperatives
  • Prepare and present analyses and information to senior management
  • Develop key relationships across businesses and functions in order to seek best knowledge
  • Ensure that all work and analysis is performed with a high level of quality, thoroughness and accuracy
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis for a wide variety of business and operational decisions across the organization from growth strategies to realization of full-potential opportunities in the core business

Qualifications

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance or analytical role in investment banking, valuation, consulting or corporate finance
  • Excellent skills and experience in: financial statement analysis, financial modeling, valuation , and economic analysis
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office® suite products, i.e. Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Excel - Ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables & models. 
  • PowerPoint – Ability to create and modify business presentations
  • Demonstrated self-starter who works well in ambiguous situations
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 20-25%
