We are currently seeking a CDL Driver for our New Jersey Plastics, NJ Facility.  Drivers report directly to our Shift Supervisors.

Job Summary: 

Operates Heavy Tractor Trailers to transports goods from manufacturing plants, distribution centers to customer locations.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support and Comply with Company Guiding Principles, Safety standards and laws & regulations;
  • Comply with DOT and company operating standards;
  • May require loading and unloading trucks and secure product in accordance with customer specifications;
  • Maintain truck operating efficiency by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; schedules repairs;
  • Seals trailer prior to shipping and prepares or obtains appropriate BOL (Bill of Lading);
  • Keeps trucks and trailers clean at all times;
  • Record driver daily log sheets;
  • May require loading and off-loading of products and to operate a forklift truck;
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. 
  • Drivers must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a licensed driver (CDL) and a good driving record over the last 3 years. 
  • A driver must also have good communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Forklift Operator
  • Stable work history



  • CDL License
  • Current OSHA forklift driving certification


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the CDL Driver is frequently required to sit, talk and hear; is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk. May occasionally be required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May infrequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.



Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant may fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. The following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):   Steel-Toed or safety footwear, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Gloves Specific to Task.
  • Equipment/Tools: Hand tools, gauges, scales, calipers, hand-truck, forklift truck and others.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices: May require use of hair and facial hair nets.
