Leads administration of quality, process, and business improvement efforts. Interacts with customers and suppliers on quality and performance issues. May have direct reports to implement some aspects of the policies and procedures within the quality function.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree – Is preferred.
Manufacturing - Requires a minimum 2 years experience.
Continuous Improvement – Experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Manufacturing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and coordination of people and resources.
- Talent Management: attracts skilled workers, integrates new workers, and develops and retains current workers to meet current and future business objectives.
- Computer skills: Adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word

Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
