    Provides support to two attorneys and handles matters that are critical to the success of the legal team and our company.  Familiar with a variety of legal concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Acts as a generalist, performing a wide variety of tasks.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in a corporate legal department handling a wide variety of legal issues, including primarily commercial contracts, litigation support, and compliance matters.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in-house counsel with drafting a wide variety of agreements including purchasing, sales, and lease agreements.
    • Provide litigation support, including acting as a liaison with outside litigation counsel  
    • Support legal team on a variety of projects, including M&A transactions, administrative charge responses (e.g., EEOC claims by employees), ethics compliance, subpoena responses, and policy administration and development
    • Administer the company’s Document Management Policy and manage compliance by all departments.
    • Handle general administrative duties in support of legal department, including mailings and filings.


    • 5+ years of legal experience in a corporate legal department
    • Associate's degree or its equivalent
    • Demonstrated initiative and self-direction
    • Demonstrated attention to detail
    • Time management and organizational skills required to provide support to a small legal team in a fast-paced environment working on multiple initiatives
    • Strong communication skills with special attention to grammar and accuracy
    • Strong MS office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
    • Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information
