  • Overview

    We are currently seeking a Benefits Manager for our Atlanta Corporate Headquarters. 

    The Benefits Manager is responsible for directing the day-to-day administration of CCC’s health and welfare plans.  The Benefits Manager will support and execute the CCC Total Rewards strategy and work directly with the Director, Total Rewards to ensure that benefit plans are competitive, cost-effective and valued by employees.  The Benefits Manager will lead a team that is focused on providing excellent customer service and education to the Department’s internal customers including employees and key business partners.  The Benefits Manager will also provide complex analysis of data to ensure that employee benefit plans are supporting CCC’s business objectives.  The Benefits Manager will support CCC’s guiding principles in carrying out all assigned duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of CCC’s health and welfare plans including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and other ancillary coverage to ensure compliance with all required ERISA regulations.
    • Act as the main point of contact with all contracted vendors and serve as the escalation point for any complex service issues.
    • Lead all facets of the annual benefits renewal process which may include plan design review, proposal analysis, cost modeling, development of communication tools and materials and education for the Field HR Team, all within required deadlines.
    • Participate in Enterprise activities related to Benefits Administration and vendor negotiations.
    • Assign various day to day benefits administration tasks to team members and provide necessary training to ensure compliance as well as provide ongoing career development.
    • Provide monthly review of self-funded plan claims costs and work directly with Accounting to ensure that proper accruals are in place. Responsible for ad-hoc reporting requests as required to support CCC’s management of plan costs.
    • Manage all aspects of the 401(k) plan from eligibility, enrollment and audit. Oversee annual testing and audit.  Perform routine plan analysis and develop robust employee education plans to drive participation.
    • Work closely with Payroll to ensure that benefit plans and policies are being carried out as expected.
    • Oversee Leave Administration to include internal leave management process as well as outsourced vendor management. Work with Legal as needed to handle leave cases within CCC’s guidelines.
    • Conduct or assign regular audits of employee benefit enrollments, benefit billing and plan costs to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
    • Ensure company compliance with all state and federal guidelines including distributions of all required government filings Benefits documents and notices to employees.
    • Track and analyze changes to state and federal laws related to Benefits which may require action by CCC and notify the CCC Policy Committee as needed.
    • Participate in HRIS projects as required.
    • Must be willing to accept other duties as assigned in support of the Total Rewards and HR Department goals and projects.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    • The Benefits Manager requires a Bachelor’s degree – Business or Human Resources preferred.
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in Benefits Administration including experience supervising team members supporting self-funded benefit plans.
    • Specific experience in acquisitions and in the required Benefits integration activities is preferred.

    Work Environment

    The Benefits Manager will primarily work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copiers. The Benefits Manager may occasionally visit CCC plant locations where personal protective equipment will be provided as needed based on the location requirements.

     

    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the Benefits Manager is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk and sit throughout the work day.  The Benefits Manager should be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to view a computer screen for the majority of the work day.

     

    Travel

    • The Benefits Manager will be required to travel out of the local area and overnight in support of various Department initiatives which may include annual benefits enrollment, benefits education and support of CCC acquisitions.
