    Responsibilities

     

    As a manufacturing associate, you will ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, load and unload trailers, store and maintain a clean, organized warehouse blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line.

     

    Your specific duties will include:

     

    • Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory
    • Train to set-up and adjust equipment to produce quality bottles of various types, sizes and
    • Load and unload trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements, inspect incoming materials.
    • Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
    • Clear jams on bagger or conveyor.
    • Train to Operate bagger equipment and switches.
    • Train to operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality
    • Troubleshoot and locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers and support
    • Train to perform mold, neck tooling, pin and other equipment
    • Train to perform hydraulic and pneumatic checks
    • Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedures
    • Assist mechanics with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.
    • Grind excess bottle and material.
    • Train to lubricate and perform any preventive maintenance to all equipment and keep necessary
    • Provide break relief as directed by Supervisor, Crew Leader or Lead Operator.
    • Other duties as assigned by

    Qualifications

    As a Manufacturing associate, you must have a positive attitude, an ability to accept feedback, and the flexibility to adapt to change.

    Specific qualifications for the role include:

     

    • Commitment to safe work practices
    • Prefer high school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous manufacturing experience a plus
    • Excellent communicator
    • Detailed oriented
    • Ability to work in team environment
    • Desire to learn and grow

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee frequently is required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
